About Haloalaunuiakea
Our Mission
The mission of Haloalaunuiakea Early Learning Center is to provide safe, affordable, high quality, constructive early education services based on the Hawai`i Early Learning and Development Standards as well as on Hawaiian cultural practices, values, and beliefs for the keiki of working families.
Our Program
We believe that keiki should be allowed to grow at their own pace and to learn in ways that help them become confident in themselves as learners. Our goal is to provide all keiki with a clean, safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment. Respect toward self, others and the ‘āina will be emphasized. We believe in the value of both structured and non-structured activities. Differentiation is at the forefront of everything we do and plan for our keiki to ensure that they are getting the individualized support that they need at all times.
Our Teachers
Our teachers are highly trained professionals who are passionate about early childhood education. They are dedicated to providing a warm and caring environment that fosters the emotional, social, and intellectual development of our keiki.
